It is a health and nutrition-related conditional financial assistance program of the Government of Pakistan aimed at controlling the problem of stunting among children under 23 months of age. The following facilities are to be provided
Provision of special nutritious food for pregnant and lactating women and children (under 23 months of age) Conditional financial support on quarterly basis aims to facilitate access to health and nutrition services for consumers (pregnant and lactating 1,500/- per quarter stipend for lactating women and child and Rs. 2,000/- per quarter stipend for girl child) Immunizations for pregnant and lactating women and children (under 23 months of age) • Breastfeeding, hygiene and nutrition awareness sessions for children on quarterly basis Antenatal/postnatal care
